The war was very present on Santo, and scared off the rich and beautiful. Businesses closed, or found ways to attract other customers. Now it is known as a “fun” place, pandering to any pleasures. Many casinos opened here to avoid Alliance restrictions. Respectable resorts have started to open again, with a middle-class crowd.
